Alcohol class reminders and more information

Thank you for your payment, but there is still more to do...

Even though your payment reserved the student's seat in our alcohol education class, registration paperwork must also be completed. If you have not completed registration forms, please follow directions below.
Two forms must be completed prior to the class. You can choose from either of two options for completing the forms:
  • OPTION 1: You can call us at 972-503-4803 and we will take information over the phone, complete the forms and mail them to you for signing. We provide you with envelopes and stamps for returning the completed forms to us.
  • OPTION 2: You can fill in the Registration and Orientation forms online, print them out and mail them to us. If time is too short for mailing, you can bring them to the first class session. If you choose this option, Click on the "Alcohol" tab above-left, and scroll to the bottom of the page to get started.

More information about the class...

Who needs to attend?

Parents or others do not attend classes with the student, unless ordered by the court.

Who needs to arrive with the student?

If the student is under 18 years of age on the first day of the class, then registration papers must be signed by a parent or guardian. Signing papers would be the only reason a parent or guardian would be required to arrive with the student. In other words, if the student arrives with registration papers already signed, then there would be no need for a parent or guardian to arrive with the student.

If a parent or guardian would like to arrive with a student to check us out, we would welcome you.

What happens if the student is late or absent from a class?

A few minutes late is understandable, especially for the first class. Please be aware, however, that a student can be discharged from the class for being too late or for being absent. The State of Texas will not allow makeup sessions, and there are no refunds. Reasons for arriving too late or being absent will not be considered. This is not insensitivity on our part, it is just that according to Texas policy, the student is either in the class or not, regardless of the reason.

What does the student need to bring to class?

With the exception of registration paperwork, the student need not bring anything. We supply all materials.

Are food and beverages allowed in the classroom?

No food or beverages. We supply students with chilled bottled water.

How does the court get proof of class completion?

Upon successful completion of the class, an official signed certificate of completion is hand-delivered to each student on the final day of class. It is the student's responsibility to deliver the certificate to the court.

What if the certificate is lost before delivery to the court?

There is a $25 fee for a replacement certificate. Only original certificates will be accepted by courts and photo copies of certificates are invalid.
